Anastasia Gumbiner is an author and artist. She grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Southern California while spending time with family in Texas and England. She attended the University of New Mexico where she received her BA in Art History. She currently resides in Texas.

Anastasia writes short stories which have appeared in literary journals including The Ekphrastic Review and Conceptions Southwest. 

​

She also wrote and illustrated The Tumblesom Teds and Doolimara. The characters and stories were inspired by drawings and games from her own childhood.

 

Anastasia has just completed her first novel.
